My Bio

I grew up in Pembroke, Ontario, raised by a single parent who supported my dreams and pushed me in the direction I needed to take to get where I am today. I graduated college with academic honours, moved to Toronto to pursue my career as a graphic designer. I had an internship working as a social media designer and that led me to further career opportunities. The following year, I ended up working as a designer for a billboard company called Curbex. I’ve worked there for 2 years, then the Pandemic hit. Many people lost their jobs, including myself. I have a positive outlook on life, so that didn’t stop me from finding another job in my field. I've worked as Social Media Marketer and Designer creating flyers and social content for a Liquidating Company in Barrie. This allowed me to gain more experience in different design fields, which led me to work for Surplus Furniture where I designed printed and digital flyers, remarketing ads, worked with Mailchimp sending out emails, updated web graphics, worked with animation, etc. I'm at a stage in my life where I want to increase my skills and work for a company that will enhance my current abilities.
